INDIANAPOLIS – IU Indy men's soccer student-athlete Jago Thompson-Roberts and softball student-athlete Callie Dickerson have been selected to represent the Jaguars on the Horizon League Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the 2026-27 academic year, the league office recently announced.
 
In addition to serving as IU Indy's two voting representatives on the committee, Thompson-Roberts has been elected SAAC Vice President, while Dickerson will serve on the league's Messaging Cabinet.
 
The Horizon League SAAC is comprised of two student-athlete representatives from each of the League's 12 member institutions and serves as the voice of student-athletes across the conference. The committee works to enhance the student-athlete experience while providing leadership opportunities and helping shape conference initiatives.
 
As SAAC Vice President, Thompson-Roberts will assist in leading the committee throughout the academic year and help represent the student-athlete perspective in Horizon League governance. Dickerson's role on the Messaging Cabinet will help guide the committee's communications efforts and promote SAAC initiatives and engagement throughout the conference.
