GREEN BAY, Wisc. - The IUPUI men's soccer team will return to Horizon League play on Saturday night (Sept. 22) when the Jaguars face Green Bay at 7:00 p.m. Central (8 Eastern). The Jaguars will look to snap a two-game skid while Green Bay comes in having dropped two-in-a-row as well. The two sides are tied for third-place in the Horizon League standings.

IUPUI (1-4-2, 1-1 HL) fell in a weather-shortened contest at Western Illinois on Tuesday night, falling 1-0. After two weather delays, the Jags yielded a goal in the game's 30th minute to trail at the break 1-0. Play continued until the 83rd minute when the game was called due to darkness. Since defeating Detroit Mercy in the Horizon League opener on the strength of Pedro Valladao's game-winner, the Jags have been shutout in three straight.

Head coach Brian Barnett has rolled out one of the nation's youngest rosters as 13 underclassmen, including seven freshmen, have started at least one match this season. Among them is starting keeper Quinn McCallion who boasts a 1.20 goals against average and 41 saves in seven games. Sophomore Tommy Patacca has played a team-high 647 minutes in the field and has two of the team's three goals. Junior midfielder Alan Aguilar has attempted a team-high eight shots and freshman back Corey Goede has a team-high two assists.

IUPUI is looking to break a streak of 38 straight road contests without a win, dating back to the 2014 season. The Jaguars last true road win was a 3-1 victory at Houston Baptist on Sept. 13, 2014 when IUPUI scored three unanswered second half goals to stun HBU. IUPUI's last road conference win was in 2012 when the Jags defeated Oral Roberts, 2-0 on Oct. 13 that season.

JAGS MAKING AN IMPACT: Last spring, the IUPUI men's soccer team signed Fishers-native Tyler Harris to a letter of intent to join the program through a partnership with Team IMPACT. Harris, an 11-year old battling cystic fibrosis, was on the sidelines for his first game when the Jaguars hosted Bradley earlier this season. Harris has already had a profound impact on the Jaguars' program as members of the team have also visiting the sixth-grader at home and have plans to support him at upcoming cross country meets and other events.

HANCOCK COUNTY PROMISE: The IUPUI men's soccer team was among a large contingent of student-athletes that participated in the Hancock County Promise Day at Carroll Stadium earlier this season as Barnett and his student-athletes interacted with more than 1,000 third-graders over the course of the day.

SCOUTING GREEN BAY: Green Bay is 4-2-1 on the year and 1-1 in Horizon League play with a win at Cleveland State and a home loss to Northern Kentucky. The Phoenix are 1-2-1 at home this season with the lone victory coming over Northern Illinois on Aug. 27. Tomer Zloczower leads the Green Bay offense with three goals and Bernard Assibey Rhule has two goals and an assist. In goal, Jamison Yoder and Nikola Kahvedzic have split time in goal with Yoder going 3-1 with a shutout and a 1.01 goals against average. Kahvedzic has a 1.32 GAA in three appearances and a 0-1-1 record.

INSIDE THE SERIES: IUPUI is 2-2-2 all-time against Green Bay, having lost to the Phoenix last season by a 2-0 score at Carroll Stadium. The Jaguars' last win over Green Bay was a 1-0 double overtime outcome in Indianapolis on Oct. 30, 2005. Last year's meeting was the first between the two teams since 2008.

NEXT UP: IUPUI will trek to Cincinnati for a midweek match on Wednesday night (Sept. 26) at 7:00 p.m..
