INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI women's tennis is back at the West Indy Racquet Club for the first time since Feb. 9 when the Jags will host two Horizon League matches over the weekend.
IUPUI (3-11, 0-2 Horizon) will play host to Wright State on Saturday (March 31) at 11:30 a.m. before finishing their weekend against Northern Kentucky on Sunday (April 1) at 9 a.m.
The Jags are looking to bounce back from a tough opening weekend to their Horizon League schedule. IUPUI fell to Detroit Mercy, 2-5 in the Horizon League opener and then lost to Oakland 0-7 the following day.

Samantha Mayer# picked up the lone singles win for IUPUI over the weekend, earning a 6-3, 6-3 win at the No. 3 spot against Detroit Mercy. The win was Mayer's fourth of the season, which is second on the team behind #
Valeriia Lavrenchuk#'s five wins.
SCOUTING WRIGHT STATE
Wright State comes in to the weekend with a 12-9 overall record and has won its last three matches, including its Horizon League opener against Northern Kentucky. The No. 4 singles spot has been the best spot for the Raiders this season with a 15-16 overall record. Luisa Pelayo holds the most wins on the team with 14 this season and three other players have all won double-digit dual matches. Wright State is .500 or better in all three doubles spots this year.
SCOUTING NORTHERN KENTUCKY
Northern Kentucky is 1-5 overall on the season and lost to Wright State in its first Horizon League match. The Norse have three players with two wins on the season and Margita Sunjic holds a 2-2 record at the No. 1 singles spot.
