WOMEN'S TENNIS AT EASTERN ILLINOIS, HOSTS BRADLEY OVER WEEKEND

Jags will be back home on Sunday (March. 4) after playing six-straight road matches.

INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI women's tennis team has one more chance this weekend to pick up their first road win of the season as the Jags will play at Eastern Illinois on Friday morning (March 2).

After taking on the Panthers, IUPUI (3-8) will return home on Sunday (March 4) to take on Bradley at 10:30 a.m. at the West Indy Racquet Club.

The Jags went 0-3 over their last weekend in Nashville, and will look to avenge a 0-7 loss to Eastern Illinois last season.

Krystal Grubb and Valeriia Lavrenchuk teamed up for another win last time out to push their record to 9-2 as a team at the No. 1 doubles spot. IUPUI is still looking for the right team at No. 2 doubles as the Jags are 1-10 in those matches with three different teams. Samantha Mayer and Molly Nguyen have the lone win in that spot.

Lavrenchuk has the best singles record for IUPUI this season at 4-6. After winning her first two matches of the season, Mariella Pessina has lost her last three at the No. 3 spot.

SCOUTING EASTERN ILLINOIS
Eastern Illinois comes in to the match with the Jaguars having split their last four games and are 4-8 overall. The last time the Panthers took the court was a 3-4 loss to Northern Illinois. Eastern Illinois' best spot in the lineup has been at No. 2 singles with an 8-4 record. Stella Cliffe holds a 5-2 record in that spot.

In doubles play, No. 1 doubles is the best spot for the Panthers as the team of Cliffe and Grace Summers are 6-6 as a team this year.

SCOUTING BRADLEY
Bradley is 3-6 on the season and have lost its last four matches, including four-straight. The Braves will take on DePaul on Saturday before playing the Jags on Sunday.

The No. 1, No. 3 and No. 4 singles spots all hold a 5-4 record for Bradley with Alexa Brandt having the best individual record at 6-3. Brandt is also 5-1 in the No. 4 singles spot.

In doubles play, the best record for Bradley is 4-4 at No. 2, with the team of Brandt and Malini Wijesinghe playing in all eight of those matches.
