INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI women's basketball had its best offensive game of the season in a 94-56 win over Cleveland State.
IUPUI (18-6, 10-3 Horizon) bounced back from a loss to Youngstown State with a season-high in points and field goal percentage, hitting 58.5% of their shots.

The Jags were led by
Danielle Lawrence who scored 28 points on 10-for-18 shooting and 5-for-8 from behind the arc.
Tamya Sims scored 19, hitting 9-of-10 free throws and finished one rebound shy of a double-double, leading the Jags with nine.
Macee Williams finished the game with 15 points on 6-for-7 from the floor despite only playing 12 minutes due to foul trouble.
Morgan Allen matched her career-high with 11 points, hitting 4-of-her-5 shots.
Sydney Hall was the fifth Jaguar to finish in double-figures going 3-for-4 from three-point range and finishing with 10.
IUPUI jumped on Cleveland State (17-8, 9-5 Horizon) early, using a 10-0 that started with four-straight from Williams and back-to-back threes from Hall and Lawrence to give the Jags a 12-2 lead.
In what turned out to be a very physical matchup, IUPUI shot 12 free throws in the first quarter, making 11, to help the Jags score a season-best 32 points in the first and hold a ten-point lead after one period of play.
The Jags would go to the free-throw line 29 times, tying a season-high set earlier this season against Cleveland State. IUPUI made 23 of its free throws, which was a season-high.
IUPUI scored 24 second-quarter points to take a 56-40 lead at the break. It was the most points in a half for the Jags this year.
The third quarter was a difference maker for the Jags as IUPUI opened up the quarter on a 21-4 run to open the lead to 33. Lawrence had nine points during the run and Sims bookended the run with a layup to start the quarter and two free-throws to end it.
After four points by the Vikings, IUPUI went on an 8-0 run near the end of the quarter to push the lead to 37.
IUPUI will be on the road for its final two games next week with a trip to Detroit, Mich., for games at Oakland on Thursday (Feb. 15) and at Detroit Mercy (Feb. 17).
