INDIANAPOLIS - IUPUI's women's tennis team is back in action over the weekend with two matches in Indianapolis. The Jags will take on the University of Indianapolis Friday (Feb. 5) and host Bradley on Saturday (Feb. 6).

It has been a tough stretch for the Jags (0-5) to start the season having taken on two ranked Big Ten teams and a tough Marquette squad. The Jags fell 7-0 in their first four matches and lost the last time out on the court 5-2 to Dayton. 

In the match against Dayton, the Jags earned their two points in singles action with wins from Sara Sherif and Bobbi Modesto.

The match against UIndy will be the first match of the season for the Greyhounds. UIndy was voted to be the top team in the East division of the Great Lakes Valley Conference in Division II. The match against the Greyhounds is schedule for 3:00 p.m. at the UIndy Tennis Center.

The following day the Jags begin a nine-match homestand when they host Bradley. The Braves (2-2) come in to the match having won their last two matches against Northern Illinois (4-3) and Valparaiso (7-0) on Saturday (Jan. 30).

The match with Bradley is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. at the West Indy Racquet Club.

Last season, the Jags beat UIndy 4-3, and lost to Bradley 7-0.
