INDIANAPOLIS – Looking for one last tune-up prior to the start of the 2016 House of Champions, the men's (3-0) and women's (4-0) swimming and diving teams will be back in action Thursday (Nov. 10) as the Jags host Cincinnati (1-0, 1-0) in the Natatorium at 6 p.m. EST.  The dual-meet comes in advance of the three-day House of Champions event, from Nov. 18-20.

This season, the Jags have picked up convincing victories over the University of Indianapolis, Wright State and Eastern Illinois, while the women added a victory over Butler.  Standout performances have included a sweep of the Summit League weekly awards, picked up by
John Ragsdell and first-year
Olivia Treski.
Melissa Berger and
Krisztian Somhegyi swept the diving awards, capping of a historic accomplishment for IUPUI.

Cincinnati took part in the National Collegiate Open Water Championships in Lawrence, Kansas on Sep. 17, taking first on the men's side and third on the women's.  The teams followed that with a big sweep of Michigan State, picking up 23 combined wins for 184-115 victory on the men's side and a 181-119 victory on the women's side.  The meet marks the third scheduled dual-meet for Cincy in the month of November, as the Bearcats will follow the Indianapolis trip with a Bloomington visit Friday (Nov. 11), as the team will face Indiana.

Left on the 2016 calendar for the Jags is the previously mentioned House of Champions, followed by the U.S. Swimming Nationals and the Miami (Ohio) Diving Invitational during the opening days of December (Dec. 1-3).  The Jags were picked in the preseason to finish second on the men's side in the Summit League, as well as third on the women's side.
