INDIANAPOLIS – Following a weekend full of Summit League action last week, the IUPUI women's tennis team returns to action on Friday, April 3, when it hosts local rival Butler at the West Indy Racquet Club.
 
IUPUI went 1-2 in league play last week moving its overall record to 7-8, while its Summit League record shifted to 3-2.  Butler enters the match with a 5-14 record.
 
Through 15 matches this season the Jaguars have been balanced with four players posting seven or more singles wins this season led by Samantha Mayer's and Bobbi Modesto's eight victories.
 
Modesto and Rachael Bridgegroom continue to lead the way in doubles action as the duo is 9-5 on the season with six wins coming at the third position.
 
Friday's match with the Bulldogs is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start.
