INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI women's tennis team continued its winning ways on Sunday as it picked up its fourth straight win with a 4-1 win over Green Bay at the West Indy Racquet Club.

The win capped off a 2-0 weekend for the Jaguars, who downed Western Illinois in Summit League action, 7-0, Saturday in Macomb, Ill.

As has been the case during the win streak, the Jags got out to an early lead thanks to its doubles play. Valeriia Lavrenchuk and Samantha Mayer eked out a hard-fought 8-6 win at the top spot to go with Bobbi Modesto's and Rachael Bridegroom's 8-3 win at the No. 3 position.

Then in singles action, Modesto, Mayer and Bridegroom all claimed straight-set wins at the No. 3, 4, and 5 spots to seal the victory.

Up next for the Jaguars is a trip to Cincinnati, Ohio, on Sunday, March 8, to take on Cincinnati. The match is set to start at 3 p.m.
