VALPARAISO, Ind. - The IUPUI women's tennis team has a big weekend on tap this weekend as it travels to Valparaiso, Ind., for a pair of matches.

The Jaguars will take on Valparaiso on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 5 p.m., before beginning Summit League play on Sunday, Feb. 15, against Omaha.

The Jags are coming off a pair of losses last weekend against some tough competition in Missouri and Missouri State, but they will be looking to get back on track this weekend.Every member of the team has picked up a singles win through five matches this season, and the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles tandems of Valeriia Lavrenchuk and Samantha Mayer, and Rachael Bridegroom and Bobbi Modesto are both 2-3 this season.

Saturday's meeting against the Crusaders will be the first meeting between the two schools since the 2013 season. That year, the Jags claimed a 5-2 win in Indianapolis. IUPUI and Omaha have played two close matches in the past two years, but the Mavericks have come out on top in both cases winning 4-3 last season and 4-2 in 2013.
