INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI women's soccer program will put a bow on the 2015 season this weekend, hosting a pair of matches at the on-campus Michael A. Carroll Stadium. IUPUI will welcome North Dakota State on Friday night (Oct. 30) at 7:00 p.m. before playing host to South Dakota State on Sunday (Nov. 1) at 1:00 p.m.. Both matches will be free of charge although standard university parking rates will apply. For those unable to attend, Friday's match will be streamed live on IUPUIJags.com with Morgan Adcock (pxp) calling the action from high above the pitch.

The Jaguars were eliminated from contention for the four-game Summit League Tournament last weekend, but will look to play the role of spoiler this weekend. NDSU (10-5-1, 5-0-1 Summit) is the lone remaining undefeated team in the league while SDSU (9-5-2, 4-1-1) is currently third in the league standings.

IUPUI will recognize the senior class of Sierra Bryant, Meghan Day, Lauren Kulaga, Grace Perkowitz and Kalli Shepler-Tucker on the field immediately following Sunday's match.

BOOK IT, TORI
Junior Tori Minnich was named Academic All-District 5 on Thursday (Oct. 29), becoming just the second in school history to earn first team honors and the second to be chosen twice in her career. Former star midfielder Katrina McCrory was the first IUPUI player to earn multiple awards (2008 & 2009), including a first team honor in 2009.

MISS ASSIST
Senior Kalli Shepler-Tucker took over as the program's all-time leader in assists at South Dakota (Oct. 23), feeding Krissy Kirkhoff for the Jaguars' lone score. It was her second assist of the season and 16th of her collegiate career, putting her one ahead of Sheri Levack for the top spot.

74 AND COUNTING...
Senior Lauren Kulaga has made 74 career starts and is the sixth player in school history to hit at least 70 starts in her career. She'll finish her IUPUI career second in career starts and joins the group of Margaret Allgeier (78), Karrie Reising (73), Katrina McCrory (71), Anna Pigg (70) and Kara Conger (70) with at least 70 nods.

FIRST TIMERS
IUPUI has had six different players score their first career goals this season. At Western Illinois (Oct. 18), freshman Maryna Clark netted her first career goal late in the contest. Two days prior against Oral Roberts (Oct. 16), senior Meghan Day netted her first career goal, coming in her first start of the season. Others to score their career goals this season, are freshman Becca Spitalniak, sophomores Leia Peterman and Beth Parks and Kulaga.

FOR STARTERS
IUPUI has had 19 different players start at least two matches this season, although five have started all 16 matches. Injuries have played a major role in the patchwork starting lineups as expected starter Sierra Bryant suffered a season-ending injury in the third match of the season and another expected starter, Catherine Raster, missed the first month due to injury.

ACADEMIC HONORS
For the seventh straight year, the IUPUI women's soccer team earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award on Sept. 23. Teams with a 3.0 GPA or greater are recognized nationally for their achievements.

NEWBIES
Nine different players have made their IUPUI debuts this season, with a combination of two Division-I transfers, two redshirt freshman and five true freshmen. Of the newcomers, true freshman Braegan Lyon leads the group in minutes played (870), followed by Jessica Flores (596) and Spitalniak (590).

CHASING HISTORY
Kirkhoff is chasing history as the season winds down, having posted 11 goals and seven assists this season. Her seven assists are the highest single-season total in school history and her 11 goals are just the fifth double-digit total in school history and three shy of tying the school record of 14 (Tara Latella - 2000). Her 29 points are four shy of tying the single-season record, also set by Latella (33 - 2000).
