1/31/2015 6:21:00 PM

PEORIA, Ill. - After two weeks away from competition, the IUPUI women's tennis team returned to action Saturday at Bradley, but the Braves were too much for the Jags as they fell by a score of 7–0.

The lost dropped the Jaguars to 0–2 on the season.

Bradley took the early lead winning the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles matches, before sweeping all six singles matches.

Five of the six matches were decided in straight sets, with the exception of the number four spot.

Abbey Neff represented the Jags at the No. 4 position, and she jumped out to an early lead winning the first set, 6-2, to take early control. However, her opponent rallied for a 6–4 second set win before taking the third set 6–3.

The Jaguars return to Indianapolis on Sunday, February 1 when they will take on the University of Indianapolis at 1 p.m.
