INDIANAPOLS, Ind. - The Jaguars (3-14, 1-0) took care of business in their conference opener, dealing Western Illinois their 13th 7-0 loss of the season. It was IUPUI's first 7-0 win this season and second straight win overall. 

Friday's match was the first for the Jaguars with a full lineup since they played Western Michigan back on March 15. Rachel Swartwood returned to the lineup at the No. 4 spot and won handily, 6-0, 6-3. With her return, Julie Brockman and Abbey Neff moved down to No. 5 and No. 6 respectively, where they usually play. Along with Bobbi Modesto at No. 3 singles, Brockman and Neff each served up a double bagel. 

Neff and Brockman continued their strong play at No. 1 doubles winning 8-2,. Both No. 2 and No. 3 doubles did one better though, winning 8-1. 

This is the first time this season the Jaguars have won back-to-back matches and the win gets them off to a good start in conference, but they face a tough challenge in Saturday's match against the conference favorite Denver Pioneers. Saturday's match is scheduled to begin play at 9 a.m. ET.
