MILWAUKEE, Wisc. - After making the four-hour drive north on Friday (Mar. 21), the Jaguars (1-13) weren't greeted too kindly in Milwaukee. Still playing a person down, IUPUI was dealt its 12th loss of the season, a 6-1 defeat by Milwaukee (5-7), in the day's opening match. Things didn't get any better in the evening. Marquette (8-5) handed IUPUI its second loss of the day and 13th of the season with a 7-0 sweep.

Freshman Julie Brockman was the lone winner for the Jaguars on the day, taking the No. 4 singles match against Milwaukee 6-3, 5-3. It was Brockman's third singles win this season, most on the women's tennis team.

The doubleheader extended IUPUI's losing streak to four, but it was also the final pair of matches before conference play begins. The Jaguars will travel to Fort Wayne, Ind. for a trio of conference matches next weekend and will visit Denver in three weeks for three more.
