INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI women's soccer team will split the second weekend of Summit League play with a home and road match, hosting reigning champion Denver on Friday night (Oct. 10) before heading north to play Fort Wayne on Sunday (Oct. 12). Friday's match is free of charge and open to the public though standard university parking rates will apply. IUPUI is expected to wear pink socks on Friday as part of the national month-long breast cancer awareness campaign. Sunday's match can be watched through Fort Wayne's live streaming via the link at the top of the page.
IUPUI (2-8-3, 0-2 Summit) are looking to recapture some positive momentum after a pair of tough road losses last weekend. The Jaguars dropped a 2-1 decision at South Dakota State in the closing seconds on an own goal last Friday before being stung by a 1-0 loss at North Dakota State on Sunday.

Krissy Kirkhoff has four goals and an assist. Kirkhoff remains tops in The Summit League with 51 shot attempts and needs just three attempts to post the second-highest single-season shot total in school history.

Nicole Kulovitz owns a 1.59 mark in her seven starts. The duo has combined to make 85 saves and a .794 save percentage, while having split two shutouts.
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
Denver (5-6-1, 1-1 Summit) will be hitting the road for the first time since losing at Colorado, 2-1 back on Sept. 12. Since then, the Pioneers have hosted five straight matches, going 3-2 during that span. DU opened Summit League play with a 1-0 overtime win over Oral Roberts before dropping a 3-2 double overtime decision to Omaha two days later.
Jocelyn Loomis leads the Denver attack with three goals and eight points while three other DU players have two goals. In goal, Cassidy Rey has a 1.45 goals against average and 30 saves in her nine appearances.
SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
Fort Wayne (2-9, 0-1 Summit) has home wins over Northern Kentucky and Loyola this season and is 2-2 at Hefner Field this season. Kallianne Mogler leads IPFW with two goals and four assists while Rachel Good also has two assists. Defensively, Sam Pavlika has a 2.75 goals against average and 73 saves in 11 games, putting her among the national leaders in stops.
SERIES RECORDS
IUPUI is 0-2 all-time against Denver after last year's 6-0 loss on the road. Friday's match will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools in Indianapolis.
The Jaguars are 3-7-2 all-time against IPFW and have not beaten the 'Dons since 2009. The two schools played to a 2-2 draw in Indianapolis last season, snapping the Jaguars' three-game losing streak to IPFW in the process. IUPUI is just 1-3-1 in the five previous meetings in Fort Wayne.
