Kalli Shepler-Tucker was named Summit League Offensive Player of the Week on Monday (Sept. 30) after a three-point performance against Northern Iowa over the weekend. It is the first career honor for Shepler-Tucker and she becomes the first Jaguar to earn the league's weekly offensive award since
Megan Hock was honored on Aug. 29, 2011.
Shepler-Tucker fueled the Jaguars 2-1 win over Northern Iowa on Sunday, scoring the game's first goal in the fourth minute and later assisting on
Grace Perkowitz's game-winner in the 55th minute. The 5-foot-10 attacker scored on a brilliant header for her first score of the season, while her assist was her third of the year, tying her for the team lead.
Shepler-Tucker is tied for third in the league with three assists and sixth in the Summit with 21 shot attempts.
