INDIANAPOLIS - Get a look at some of the images and highlights from today's IUPUI Basketball Tipoff Luncheon, hosted at the Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The event gave fans the opportunity to hear comments from Head Coaches Todd Howard and Austin Parkinson, as well as getting a behind-the-scenes look at the interior of the Coliseum. 

Howard focused on the program's immediate future, based largely on the shoulders of the senior group of Mitch Patton, Donovan Gibbs, #P.J. Hubert and Ja'Rob McCallum#. In addition, he took a moment to challenge attendees to purchase season tickets if they hadn't already done so and praised Parkinson, his former colleague on the men's bench, for the rise of the women's program. 

Parkinson highlighted the rise of senior guard DeAirra Goss among the league's elite players and the defensive presence of guard Dee-Dee Bellamy. In addition, Parkinson specifically mentioned the strong early-season play of #Nicole Rogers and Dawn Luster#, along with freshman Mikale Rogers and Valpo-transfer Shaquira Scott. 

IUPUI Director of Athletics Michael Moore closed the event by encouraging attendees to take ownership of the program on the cusp of the men's basketball team's 2014-15 move to the Fairgrounds Coliseum.
