INDIANAPOLIS - Two members of the IU Indianapolis men's basketball program were named Academic All-District for the 2025-26 season by College Sports Communicators, as announced on Tuesday (Mar. 24). Senior Finley Woodward and junior Kyler D'Augustino were honored for their work on the hardwood and in the classroom.

The 2025 Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Members of the All-District Team must meet a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade-point average and have played in 90 percent or started 67 percent of team games in the current season.

Woodward was the lone Jaguar to start all 32 games this past season, setting new IU Indy single-season records for total assists (201) and assists per game (6.3 apg). The 6-foot-7 forward became the first player in program history to average better than five rebounds and five assists per game in the same season, averaging 8.8 points, 6.3 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game. He scored in double-digits 14 times and had double-digit assists five different times. One of his top performances was a season-high 22 points (11-14 FG) with nine assists and six rebounds in a road win at Oakland on Jan. 21. Academically, Woodward has maintained a 4.0 grade point average while majoring in criminal justice.

D'Augustino was voted Third Team All-Horizon League by the league's head coaches after averaging a team-high 18.5 points per game, ranking third in the league. The 6-foot-1 guard ranked among the Horizon League's top-10 in four categories - scoring (3rd; 18.5 ppg), field goal percentage (6th; .531), minutes (7th; 32.4 mpg) and assist-to-turnover ratio (10th; 1.82 a/to). He earned Horizon League Player of the Week honors on Dec. 29 after his 24-point effort at Grand Canyon on Dec. 22 and scored in double-digits in 26 of his 30 games. He tallied 20-or-more 16 times including a season-high 31 points against Wright State on Jan. 4. In the classroom, D'Augustino owns a 3.91 grade point average while majoring in sports management.
