INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI women's tennis team opens a three-match homestand on Friday, Jan. 25, at 6:30 p.m. when it welcomes Wisconsin-Milwaukee to West Indy Racquet Club in Indianapolis, Ind.

The Jaguars (0-2) are coming off a two losses to SIU-Edwardsville and Ball St. and are looking to turn its play around this weekend.

"We have been stressing how important it is to build our level from day to day, week to week so we are ready every match," head coach Pat Nickell said. "They have done a tremendous job of coming to practice everyday ready to work. We just need to apply that daily competitiveness to match play and we will be successful."

Milwaukee travels to Indianapolis for its season-opener. Last season the Panthers won the match-up, 7-0, in Milwaukee.

The Jags continue its homestand on Jan. 26 against Dayton (1-3) at the West Indy Racquet Club at 1:30 p.m.

Dayton heads to IUPUI coming off a 7-0 loss to Western Michigan. The Jags looks to continue its success against the Flyers after a 5-2 victory last season.
