INDIANAPOLIS - The Friday (Aug. 24) men's and women's soccer doubleheader will mark the 2012-13 debut of IUPUI LIVE! on IUPUIJags.com. The women's match at 5:30 p.m. versus Cleveland State will kickoff the action, followed by the men's match against Detroit at 7:30 p.m.. Scott McCauley will handle the play-by-play duties and former Jaguar Yogi Snider will serve as the analyst.

The subscription costs range from $4.95 for a single-game pass to $29.95 for a full season pass that includes four home soccer matches, 13 volleyball matches and approximately 30 basketball broadcasts. The video production comes from Indianapolis-based WebStream Sports, which is one of the industry leaders in live event production.

On the field, the IUPUI (0-2) women's team will be seeking win number one on the young season when it hosts the Vikings in game one of Friday's twinbill. The Jaguars lost 1-0 at Valparaiso to open the season and dropped a 5-0 count to Miami at Carroll Stadium last weekend. In goal, junior Giselle Guzman has a 3.66 goals against average in her two starts while classmate Kristin Haseley played 32 scoreless minutes in relief against MU. Sophomore Taylor Heidorn has been the team's top offensive option, firing six shots from her forward position in two games, putting four on frame. The Jaguars come in at 3-2 all-time against CSU and 2-0 in matches played in Indianapolis. CSU defeated the Jaguars 3-2 in Cleveland on Sept. 18, 2011 in the most recent meeting between the two schools.

On the men's side, Friday's match marks the season opener for both schools. Head coach Isang Jacob's team lost a 1-0 exhibition match to SIU-Edwardsville last week, despite a seven save effort from freshman goalkeeper Eduardo Cortes. The Jaguars were outshot 23-6 with junior Gregory Efiom attempting a team-high two shots. The Jaguars are led by the senior duo of Kyle Hyland and Joshio Sandoval and will lean heavily on a 14-man crop of newcomers. IUPUI is 1-4 all-time against the Titans with the lone win in the series coming in the most recent meeting in 2009. The Jaguars won a 2-1 count in overtime in Indianapolis, breaking a four-match losing streak to UDM.

IUPUI soccer alumni in attendance are encouraged to visit the tailgate area behind the stadium prior to kickoff or between games as part of the men's soccer Alumni Night.

Admission to home matches is free and open to the public all season long. As part of the return to campus kickoff on Friday, there will giveaways and fan friendly games setup throughout Carroll Stadium during both matches. In addition, all of the respective flags of the United Nations will be proudly displayed along the New York Street side of the stadium.
