INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI women’s tennis team resumes action this weekend when it welcomes Chicago State to the Five Seasons Sports Club in Carmel, Ind., for a 5 p.m. start on Saturday, March 3.
 
Last weekend, the Jaguars returned home after a seven-match road swing and fell to Xavier, 6-1.
 
The lone point for IUPUI against the Musketeers came at the No. 5 spot with Abbey Neff downing her competition, 6-7 (4), 7-5, 1-0 (3).
 
The loss dropped IUPUI to 3-9 on the season and this weekend’s match against the Cougars will be the second-to-last match before it heads to Las Vegas, Nev., to compete in the first Summit League Cluster of the season March 15-17.
 
Chicago State comes to Indianapolis with a 1-10 record on the campaign, with its lone win coming by a 4-3 margin against Bradley on Jan. 29.
