INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI women’s tennis team picked up its first win of the 2012 season last weekend against Youngstown State and will look to add to that win total this weekend when it travels to Milwaukee, Wis., to take on Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Wisconsin-Green Bay on Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11, respectively.

The Jags will first take on the host UW-Milwaukee at 5 p.m. ET, before taking on UW-Green Bay at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday  in Green Bay, Wis.

The Jaguars picked up a big win last weekend against Youngstown State, before falling 6-1 to a talented Akron squad. In the weekend split, Abbey Neff put together her best weekend of the season going 1-1 in doubles with Vanessa Whyte, while
going a perfect 2-0 in singles play.

The Panthers come into the weekend with a 3-1 record featuring wins over Western Illinois, Chicago State and Bradley. Prior to its match with the Jags at the Le Club Sports Club in Milwaukee on Saturday, the Panthers will tangle with local rival Marquette at 5:00 p.m. CT on Thursday, Feb. 9.

The Phoenix are 0-3 this spring falling to Eastern Michigan, Marquette, and Wisconsin by 7-0 margins.
