INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI men's soccer team will be honoring its seven member senior class following a critical Summit League showdown with in-state foe IPFW at Kuntz Stadium on Saturday (Oct. 22) night at 7:00 p.m.. In addition, at halftime, members of the 1991 District Championship team in attendance will be recognized.
IUPUI (5-8-2, 1-1-1 Summit) comes in having won four of their past five matches including a 1-0 win at Cleveland State on Wednesday night. Freshman
Sam Fuller netted his team-high third goal of the season in the win, thanks to assists from fellow forwards
Perez Agaba and
Matt Guy. Defensively, the Jaguars pitched their sixth shutout of the season with senior goalkeeper
Tyler Keever notching three saves in the victory. It was his 12th career shutout and his fourth in five games.
All three of Fuller's goals have been game-winners while Guy and
Yogi Snider lead the squad with three assists each. Keever's goals against average dropped to 0.98 on the year as the veteran has yielded 15 goals in 15 games. Head Coach

Kyle Hyland and
Joshio Sandoval have started all 15 times this season.
IPFW (6-8-1, 2-1 Summit League) recently dropped its second straight match with a 2-0 loss at Valparaiso. The Summit League's leading scorer Max Touloute paces the IPFW attack with 10 goals and six assists and Colin Helmrich has tallied eight times. Ryan Bristol has played the most minutes in net of IPFW's three goalkeepers, having posted a 2.18 goals against average and 3-4-1 record in his nine starts.
IUPUI leads the all-time series 10-7-1 and 5-4 since joining the Division I ranks in 1998. The Jaguars have won two-in-a-row over the 'Dons including a 2-1 double overtime victory a season ago.
At halftime, the IUPUI Athletics Department will be honoring the 1991 NAIA District 21 Championship squad, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the program's first-ever title in its fifth-year of existence. Allen Egilmez guided the then Metros to a 14-6-1 mark behind Brian Kwiatkowski's 20 goals and five assists.
