GREENFIELD, Ind. - Three individuals escaped serious injury as they jumped from their blazing Greenfield, Ind. home early Friday morning. Former IUPUI basketball standout Josh Mullins, now an officer with the Greenfield Police Department, was one of the first responders on the scene as the house was engulfed in flames.
Mullins described the front of the house as an orange ball of fire. He and another officer ran to the back of the house where a woman and two teenagers were urged to jump from a window. The two officers caught the two teens, but the woman jumped before they were able to catch her. She was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
