FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Building on the momentum from Thursday night, the IUPUI women's tennis team routed Centenary, 5-0, on Friday morning at the Dr. Ruby & Rhonda Kachmann Tennis Complex on the campus of IPFW.  The Jaguars dropped just five games collectively.

IUPUI (3-16, 1-2 Summit) picked up a quick lead on Centenary when Janel Seng and Alisha Cummings blanked Centenary's duo at No. 2 doubles, followed by Hunter Bullock and Shelby Hullett's 8-1 victory at No. 1.

Needing just three wins in singles play to record their first Summit League win of the season, IUPUI went the extra mile, picking up four wins, while the fifth was a game away from completion.

Cummings and Hullett each won their matches at No. 2 and No. 3 at love, while Seng and Jesika Bays wrapped up the match with straight-set victories.  Seng jumped ahead with a 6-0 win and held on to take the second set, 6-4.  

Bays dropped just one game in her 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 5

The Jaguars will be back in action on Saturday, April 3, when they face both IPFW and Oakland.  IUPUI will meet their in-state rival at 9:00 a.m. at the the Dr. Rudy & Rhonda Kachmann Tennis Complex on the campus of IPFW, followed by their match at 2:00 p.m. against Oakland on the Concordia Lutheran High School tennis courts.
