INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI basketball team will host Princeton (21-8) in the quarterfinals round of the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) on Monday night inside the Jungle with tipoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m.. Free audio and subscription video will begin at approximately 6:50 as Scott McCauley (play-by-play) and Jared Lux (analyst) describe the action.
IUPUI (25-10) advanced to the quarterfinals with a 74-60 win at Hofstra on Wednesday night while Princeton moved to by defeating Duquesne in the round of 16. The Jaguars are one win shy of tying the school record of 26 and will be hosting a postseason basketball game for the first time since Feb. 28, 1995.
IUPUI and Princeton have never met on the hardwood as the Jaguars are just 1-0 all-time against teams from the Ivy League. Head Coach

Robert Glenn stole the show, pumping in 32 points in the win at Hofstra, including hitting 14-of-17 from the foul line. The Jaguars broke the game open with a 21-2 run to start the contest, forcing Hofstra to call two early timeouts. Sophomore

Princeton is led by 5-foot-11 sophomore Douglas Davis (12.9 ppg, 43.2 3FG%) and 6-foot-3 junior Dan Mavraides (11.4 ppg, 4.3 rpg). The Tigers hold their opponents to just over 52 points per game and 39.5 percent shooting from the field. On the flip side, IUPUI comes in second in the country in field goal shooting, hitting nearly 51 percent of its attempts.
Tickets for Monday's game are $10 for reserved seating and fans are asked to wear black as part of a BLACKOUT The Jungle promotion.
