IUPUI - Eastern Illinois Box Score

CHARLESTON, Ill. -- Hunter Bullock and Jesika Bays bookended the IUPUI singles lineup with victories, but the IUPUI women's tennis team could not further dent the scoreboard, falling to Eastern Illinois, 5-2, at the Rex Darling Courts on Wednesday afternoon.

IUPUI (0-11) continued to build towards the beginning of The Summit League season as both Bullock and Bays won in straight sets.

Playing at No. 1, Bullock routed EIU's Amanda Dibbs, 6-2, 6-2.  Bays took one more game to get past Annie Egan at No. 6, 6-3, 6-2.

No other Jaguar was able to pick up a set.

IUPUI will be back in action on Saturday, March 13, when they host Chicago State.  The matches will begin at 1:00 p.m. from the Indianapolis Tennis Center.
