KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The IUPUI women's soccer team puts the nation's second-longest winning streak on the line when it travels to UMKC and Southern Utah for a pair of Summit League matches this week. The Jaguars will take on the Kangaroos on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. CT before heading further west to play at Southern Utah at 2:00 p.m. MT on Saturday.

IUPUI (9-2-0, 1-0-0 Summit) has won nine straight matches dating back to Aug. 30 and has scored at least two goals in eight straight outings. Stanford owns the nation's longest winning streak with 11 consecutive victories while UCLA has also won nine straight to match Head Coach Chris Johnson's club's string.

The Jaguars opened Summit League play with a 2-0 win at Western Illinois on Saturday, getting early goals from both Alicia Brock and Megan Hock in Macomb. Senior goalkeeper Jamie Farrell recorded her fourth shutout of the season and dropped her goals against average to 0.74 in the process.

Hock leads the Jags in goals (6) and points (14) and is tied for the team-high in game-winners (3) with senior Katrina McCrory. Brock has five goals and an assist, despite missing early season action due to injury.

UMKC's (0-11-1, 0-2-0 Summit) first-year program is led by Zaina Mayer who's tallied three goals and an assist for the 'Roos while Randi Simmons has two assists on the year.

Southern Utah (3-7-1, 1-1-0 Summit) is coming off a thrilling 4-2 win at Oakland this past weekend. The Thunderbirds jumped out to a 2-0 first half lead before seeing the Golden Grizzlies tie the match in the 66th minute. However, SUU scored twice in the game's final 12 minutes to claim its first league win of the season.

SUU has six players with at least two goals and Makell Southworth leads the way with three scores. Riley Bassett has handed out a team-high four assists while Head Coach Brian Stock has utilized a pair of goalkeepers during the year. Breanna Fitzgerald has started six of the T-Birds' 11 matches and has a 1.71 goals against average.

Southern will host Western Illinois on Thursday night.
