INDIANAPOLIS – Forced to skip doubles play due to time constraints, the IUPUI women’s tennis team dropped six singles matches in a 6-0 loss to Illinois State early Saturday morning in the bubble on the campus of Butler University.
Playing for the second time inside of 24 hours, the women could not overcome a strong Redbird lineup.
Junior
Vanessa Carna led the Jaguars by winning five games in two sets.
The Jaguars will be back in action on Sunday, Feb. 17, when they travel to Akron, Ohio, to take on the University of Akron. The match will begin at 1 p.m.
