BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The IUPUI men's basketball seeks its second straight win when it heads south to take on Indiana (1-0) at Assembly Hall on Tuesday night for a 6:30 tip. That game can be seen on the Big Ten Network as Mark Neely (pbp) and John Laskowski (color) call the action, or heard in the Indianapolis-area on XL 950 as Greg Rakestraw is on the call.

Head Coach Ron Hunter's team is 0-1 all-time against the Hoosiers, having dropped an 86-57 decision at Conseco Fieldhouse on Dec. 22, 2006. IUPUI's roster has just three players remaining from that contest, senior Gary Patterson and juniors Jon Avery and Billy Pettiford. IU has just one player remaining in the program that played that night - Kyle Taber.

IUPUI (1-1) split two games at the Ann Arbor Regional of the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer last week, losing to Northeastern before rebounding to beat Michigan Tech inside Crisler Arena.

Avery recorded his second career double-double in the 65-51 win with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Freshman Alex Young, who leads IUPUI in scoring through two games, added 15 points and sophomore Leroy Nobles finished with 11 points and seven rebounds.

The Jags used a commanding 47-25 advantage off the glass to offset 24 turnovers in the victory. IUPUI limited the Division II foe to under 26 percent from the floor and 5-of-30 from three-point range.

IU won Head Coach Tom Crean's Bloomington debut on Saturday, defeating Northwestern State 83-65. Devan Dumes led IU with 21 points and Tom Pritchard added 13 points and 10 rebounds.
