ROCHESTER, Mich. - IUPUI men's soccer student-athletes
Perez Agaba and
Weston Hawkins were chosen to the 11-player All-Summit League Tournament Team, as announced at the conclusion of the four-team event on Sunday. UMKC stunned top seeded host Oakland, outlasting the Golden Grizzlies by a 4-3 count in penalty kicks after the two teams tied at 1-1 after 110 minutes.
Oakland, ranked No. 30 nationally, eliminated IUPUI by a 4-0 score on Friday.
Agaba paced the IUPUI attack with a pair of shots on Friday, including narrowly missing an early score in the game's third minute. Hawkins' steady play in the midfield kept the Jaguars in the game early as the sophomore made his 18th start of the season.
