IUPUI sophomore diver Chen Ni has been named the IUPUI Female Student-Athlete of the Month for the month of December.

Ni swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events at the IUPUI Four-Way Dual on Dec. 5, dominating her competitions in both disciplines.

The sophomore picked up the most individual points for the Jaguar women, sweeping the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.  With a score of 296.40 on the 3-meter board, Ni won by a whopping 42 points; the Carmel, Ind.-product took the 1-meter crown by 37 points after posting a score of 267.35.

It was the fourth time that Ni was named IUPUI's athlete of the month and first in the 2009-10 season for the 2008-09 All-American.
