Junior softball standout Maggie Good has been named IUPUI's Female Athlete of the Month for May/June 2016. Good batted .464 (13-for-28) during the month with three homers, seven runs scored and nine RBI. In addition, she helped the Jaguars to a runner-up finish in The Summit League Tournament, despite entering play as the No. 6 seed.
Good finished the season with an 11-game hitting streak, including collecting a hit in all eight games during the month. Included in that stretch were three multi-hit games, headlined by a 4-for-5 effort in an elimination game against Omaha (May 13).
She also had four multi-RBI games and was later selected to The Summit League All-Tournament Team.
Good finished the season with a .292 batting average, .506 slugging percentage and .351 on-base percentage.
