Junior Marcus Burk was the Jaguars' basketball team's top performer last week, averaging 21.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in contests against Wright State (Jan. 10) and Northern Kentucky (Jan. 12). Against WSU, Burk finished with 17 points and was a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line. Two days later, he tallied a team-high 25 points (9-16 FG, 5-6 FT) to go along with three boards, three assists and a pair of steals. For the week, Burk connected on 46.4 percent from the floor and 92.3 percent from the free throw line. For the season, Burk leads the Jags in scoring (19.0 ppg), steals (28) and free throws made (45) and is second on the team in threes made (52).
