Long opened the 2019-2020 indoor season with a new school record in the 600m dash at the Mastodon Opener on Saturday (Dec. 7), clocking a time of 1:25.97 to shave three seconds off the previous school mark. Long, who was IUPUI's lone entrant in the event, placed 12th overall to break a two-year old school record in the event.
