IUPUI basketball junior Camron Justice has been named the department's Male Athlete of the Month for November 2018. Justice helped IUPUI to its best start since 2009 as the Jaguars went 5-2 in the season's opening month. Included in those five wins were victories over Boston College, Bradley and Eastern Illinois.
For the month, Justice averaged 20.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 42 percent from the floor, 33 percent from the foul line and 92 percent from the free throw line. He topped 20 points or more four times and scored in double-digits in six of seven games. He scored a career-high 29 points in the win at Boston College, including making all 13 of his free throw attempts.
He later knocked down an IUPUI record 15 free throws without a miss in the Jaguars' win over Bradley as part of a 27-point outing.
He was also named MVP of the Niagara Regional of the Fort Myers Tip-Off, averaging 20 points and three rebounds per game in wins over St. Francis Brooklyn and Grambling.
