IU Indy Athletics

Haley (Cowart) Gammon joined the IU Indy volleyball staff in January 2024 as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. In her first season at IU Indianapolis, she helped the Jaguars clinch a spot in the Horizon League tournament for the first in seven seasons. Since joining the Jaguars, she has helped the program land five talented recruits in the class of 2025 as well as three dynamic and high-level recruits in the class of 2026.

She brings nine years of coaching experience at all age levels. Before joining the Jaguars program she coached at Rev Volleyball Academy and The Academy Volleyball Club.

Gammon graduated from Butler University in 2020 with an Environmental Studies and Communication degree. While at Butler she played club volleyball and won a NCVF national championship in 2017. 

Previously, Gammon worked at an environmental nonprofit in Indianapolis, White River Alliance, as an educational and outreach coordinator for three years managing all social media, marketing and outreach, recreational programming, fundraising, and more.
