Adrienne Monka

Adrienne Monka was added to the IUPUI coaching staff in August 2012 and the 2014-15 campaign will be her third with the Jaguars.

In two seasons with the Jags, Monka has helped head coach Amanda Rivera elevate the IUPUI offense into one of the best in The Summit League. In 2014, the Jaguars finished with a D-I era school-record .298 batting average, and IUPUI led the conference in home runs (22) while finishing second in runs (96), hits (135), doubles (22) and RBI (84) in Summit League-only action.

Monka finished her four-year career at Northwestern in 2012 where she finished her career with the fifth-best batting average in school history (.354), while ranking second all-time in Wildcat history in home runs (55) and RBI (198), 10th in runs scored (108) and first in walks (190).

Monka was a two-time NFCA All-American in 2009 and 2011, and was Big Ten Rookie of the Year in 2009. The four-time All-Big Ten selection was coached by Rivera in 2012 at Northwestern and with the Jaguars, she will work with the infielders and will assist with hitting instruction.
