Biography

Hart on Turner:  “Quanisha is lightning quick, allowing her to penetrate opposing defenses and get the ball to our interior players for easy looks.  On the defensive side of the court, her speed, like Brittany Ransom’s, can be a force, causing trouble for opposing defenses when we’re in our full-court defense.”

HIGH SCHOOL:  Earned All-Metro First Team honors from The Sacramento Bee after leading the state of California in assists (9.4) per game ... Helped lead Sacramento High School to the a 26-3 record and berth in the Sac-Jaoquin Section Division III finals and a second round appearance in the Northern California regional playoffs ... Achievements on the court earned her CIF Division III All-State honors ... Averaged 13.6 points per game her senior year, up from 7.5 in the 2006-07 season ... Named Honorable Mention All-Metro by The Bee following the ‘06-07 season ... Teammate of Victoria Baugh with the Lady Dragons - Baugh won a national championship in 2008 with the University of Tennessee.
