INDIANAPOLIS - IU Indianapolis men's soccer goalkeeper Peter Field has been named the #HLMSOC Defensive Player of the Week after authoring back-to-back shutout victories last week. 

Field delivered six stops in a clean sheet against reigning Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) champion Lindenwood on Monday (Aug. 24), including a stunner of a save in the final minute to preserve the victory. Against Bowling Green, Field made four saves in leading the Jaguars to their first win over the Falcons since 2004. 

For the season, Field leads the Horizon League in shutouts (2) and saves (14) through three games.
