INDIANAPOLIS — The IU Indianapolis women's soccer team secured a 3-0 victory over Chicago St. (0-5) on Sunday (Aug. 30) at Carroll Stadium. The Jaguars dominated the match with a school record 38 shot attempts, putting 18 on goal. The Jaguar defense held Chicago State to just four shot attempts and without a corner kick in the contest.

Bethany Hartigan was pressed into midfield action on Sunday and extended the lead to 2-0 with a long-range goal assisted by Kelley in the 20th minute. Sophomore
Isabel Oferosky made multiple key saves, finishing her opening 45 minutes with three stops.
Annaliese Black capped a busy day by scoring in the 66th minute, poking home service from
Taylor Townley from the right side. Black finished with 10 shot attempts, putting five on target in 70 minutes off the bench. Kelley and
Hannah Roberson put testers on frame against goalkeeper Kamila Aguilar in the second half as the CSU keeper finished with 15 stops.
Sofia Rodriguez played a clean second half in goal, facing just one shot off target.

"It feels, it feels great. Anytime you can get a win, especially on Senior Day, it's fantastic. I thought our, you know, all of our players stepped up to the task. We were both aggressive offensively. I mean, we had over 35 shots. Over what we were anticipating, but great job, like I said, attacking-wise and then defensively able to keep a clean sheet, you know, as of late, a second half team where we haven't allowed goals and we've scored goals. It was good to put together a good 90 minutes and then get our first clean sheet of the season as well," head coach Angela Berry White said.
