INDIANAPOLIS – IU Indianapolis Director of Athletics Luke Bosso has been named to the 2026 Silver Waves Media Top Athletic Directors in America list, recognizing his leadership and impact within collegiate athletics.

Established in 2020, Silver Waves Media is dedicated to helping sports professionals and athletes advance their careers to the next stage. The organization has served more than 20,000 athletes and teams with professional-quality video highlights, while its nationally recognized "Impactful Lists" spotlight coaches and administrators across the country. Founded by Ryan Silver, the organization aims to elevate individuals throughout the sports world by highlighting their success and achievements.

Bosso, who was named IU Indy's Director of Athletics on May 31, 2023, and officially began his duties in June of that year, has quickly made a lasting impact on the Jaguars' department.

Since his arrival, Bosso has helped elevate IU Indy Athletics in multiple areas, most notably driving significant growth in corporate partnerships and unrestricted giving. Under his leadership, the department has set back-to-back records for both total contributions and number of contributors during the annual Jags Giving Week campaigns. In addition, IU Indy Athletics hosted its highest-grossing fundraising event in department history with the "A Night Off the Record" event in Fall 2024.

Bosso also played a key role in guiding the department through the university-wide transition to IU Indianapolis in July 2024, ensuring a seamless rebrand while maintaining momentum across all athletic programs.

Bosso began his career in athletics with Indiana University Sports Properties and Learfield Sports and has remained connected to collegiate sports through volunteer leadership roles within the Horizon League. He currently serves as chair of the local organizing committee for the Horizon League Men's and Women's Basketball Championships.

Active in the Indianapolis community, Bosso serves on the board of directors for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and is a trustee of the Indianapolis Zoological Society. He has also contributed to major sporting events, including serving on the local organizing committee for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Among his many honors, Bosso was named to the Indiana Business Journal's "Forty Under 40" Class of 2022 and received the prestigious Sagamore of the Wabash Award from Governor Holcomb.
