INDIANAPOLIS - IU Indianapolis women's golf freshman Li (Sherry) Xia has been named this week's Horizon League Women's Golfer of the Week after the spring opener at the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate. 

Xia was the team's low scorer with a 54-hole 226 (71-75-80) on the Blue Course at the Wigwam Resort, tying for 32nd overall among the 84-team field. Her opening round, even par 71 was her first career round of par or better and represented her low score of the season. In doing so, she lowered her season scoring average to 77.1.
