INDIANAPOLIS - The IU Indianapolis men's soccer team will return home on Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 7) to host Robert Morris for a 3:00 p.m. kick inside Michael A. Carroll Stadium. Head coach Keegan Boom's squad comes in seeking a first Horizon League win of the season after dropping back-to-back road matches at Oakland and Cleveland State. At CSU over the weekend, the Jaguars were forced to chase the game for much of the evening after yielding a score in the game's second minute.

It marked just the third time this season IU Indy (3-6-1, 0-5 HL) had been shutout. For the season, senior Jose Antonio Herrera has a team-high four goals, having scored three times from the penalty spot. Freshman Thomas Weinrich has two goals and an assist and classmate Santiago Sanchez has a goal and team-high two assists. Senior Jago Thompson-Roberts continues to lead the field players in minutes played, having logged 883 from his center back spot. Sanchez (851) and junior Jai Dindiyal (849) are just off his pace.

In goal, freshman Peter Field has started nine of the team's 10 matches with a 1.74 goals against average and 46 saves for a .742 save percentage.

QUOTABLE
"This is a difficult road trip against a good Cleveland State team. We grew into the game today but we have to learn from our mistakes. The team is working hard, wants to win and continues to be bought in. We have a quick turnaround with another conference game against Robert Morris on Wednesday where we will have an opportunity to rebound," Boom said following his team's 2-0 road loss at Cleveland State on Oct. 3.
