KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The IU Indianapolis men's soccer team has earned a No. 6 ranking in the inaugural United Soccer Coaches North Region Rankings, released on Tuesday (Aug. 26). Head coach
Sid van Druenen's team kicked off the season with road ties at both Bowling Green and Notre Dame in the season's opening week.
The Jaguars have yielded just one goal in their opening two games, that coming at BGSU, which returned one of the nation's top attacking duos. They followed with a road shutout at Notre Dame on Sunday, marking the program's first result against the Fighting Irish since 2000, when the two sides also played to a scoreless draw.
The Jaguars will continue their early season gauntlet this week with road matches at Louisville (Aug. 29) and Butler (Sept. 1).
