INDIANAPOLIS – The IU Indy men's and women's swim and dive team earned seven spots on the #HLSD All-Academic Team.

Isaac Wilson all earned the honor.
Adams earned the All-Academic honor after maintaining a 3.98 GPA in Exercise Science. The senior earned points in two events for the Jags at the Horizon League Championships with a fifth-place finish in the 1-meter dive with a score of 257.10 and 14th in the 3-meter dive. Adams was named Horizon League Diver of the Week on February 5 and was also named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IU Indy Academic Advisor's List.
Lillian Brandt earned a spot on the team with a 4.00 GPA in Health Sciences. The senior totaled 43 individual points at the Horizon League Championships with three championship final swims. She placed third in the 100 fly and 200 fly and eighth in the 500 free while also helping earn a second-place finish in the 800 free relay, third in the 200 medley relay, fourth in the 400 medley relay and fourth in the 400 free relay. Brandt was named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IU Indy Academic Advisor's List.
Kaylee Dexter was named to the All-Academic Team after maintaining a 3.98 GPA in Law in Liberal Arts/Psychology. She scored points in two events at the Horizon League Championships including the 400 IM (11th) and the 200 breast (16th). The junior was named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IU Indy Academic Advisor's List
Zietlow is one of IU Indy's most dominate swimmers in program history and now adds another All-Academic Team honor to her long list of awards. She maintains a 3.81 GPA in Psychology to earn the honor. The senior totaled 56 individual points with two first place finishes, and one meet record. She took the gold in the 500 free with a new meet record time of 4:47.02 and also took first in the 200 free and third in the 1650 free. She helped earn second in the 800 free relay, fourth in the 200 free relay, fourth in the 400 medley relay and fourth in the 400 free relay. Zietlow was named Horizon League Swimmer of the Week five times this season and was also named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IU Indy Academic Advisor's List.
Magdy earns the honor after maintaining a 3.83 GPA in Computer Engineering. He also scored points in three individual events at the Horizon League Championships. Magdy earned points in the 500 free with a sixth-place finish, seventh in the 1650 free and 14th in the 200 free. He was named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IU Indy Academic Advisor's List.
Senior
Adam Schmehl was named to the All-Academic list after maintaining a 4.00 GPA in Engineering. Schmehl was named Horizon League Diver of the Week on February 5 and had a successful Horizon League Championships. He placed 2nd overall at the Horizon League Championships in the 3-meter dive with a score of 362.05 and scored points in the 1-meter dive with a fourth-place finish at 334.45. Schmehl was named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IU Indy Academic Advisor's List.
Isaac Wilson rounded out the men's group of honorees for the Jags with a 4.00 GPA while studying Biology. The junior scored a total of 28 individual points at the Horizon League Championships to help lead the Jags to a runner-up finish. He earned points in three events with a fourth-place finish in the 200 fly, eighth place finish in the 200 IM and 13th place in the 100 fly while also helping earn a second-place finish in the 800 free relay at the Championships. Wilson was named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IU Indy Academic Advisor's List.
