THREE JAGUARS EARN #HLMSOC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM HONORS

IU Indy places a league-high three members on the All-Academic Team

INDIANAPOLIS - Three members of the IU Indianapolis men's soccer team were named to the Horizon League All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Tuesday (Nov. 4). Seniors Brady Horn and Cameron Maung-Maung and junior Jago Thompson-Roberts were selected to the 11-man team, as voted on by the league's faculty athletic representatives. 

No other school had more than two All-Academic Team honorees. 

Horn, a senior defender, has maintained a 3.86 grade point average while studying finance and real estate. It marks his second straight year earning All-Academic Team honors and he's a two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree. He currently ranks second on the team in minutes played this season with 1,365 total minutes, having been on the field nearly 95 percent of the time. For his career, he's made 64 appearances with 53 starts, totaling two goals and an assist.
 
Maung-Maung, a senior goalkeeper, has maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average while studying health sciences. This season, he emerged as the team's No. 1 goalkeeper, having made 14 starts with three shutouts. He ranks among the Horizon League leaders in goals against average (1.36) and saves (41) while registering a .695 save percentage. In addition to his work in the classroom, he also serves as the campus coordinator for IU Indy's Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

Thompson-Roberts, a junior defender, holds a 3.96 grade point average while studying neuroscience. Last season he was named All-Academic Team honorable mention and was also a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection. The team captain has totaled 45 appearances and 42 starts in an IU Indy uniform with a goal and an assist from the defensive third.
