INDIANAPOLIS- IU Indy's volleyball freshman opposite Jillian Tippmann earns this week's 92c Athlete of the Week. Tippmann helped the Jaguars to a 3-0 record during the week with a win over Purdue Fort Wayne (3-0), followed by a weekend sweep of Milwaukee (3-1, 3-0). 

The freshman from Fort Wayne hit double-digit kills in all three matches, averaging 4.9 kills/set and hitting .276 for the three matches. She had 17 kills and hit .407 in Tuesday's win over Purdue Fort Wayne (Sept. 30), followed with 17 kills and a season-high eight digs against Milwaukee on Friday (Oct. 3), and capped the week with 15 kills against Milwaukee on Saturday (Oct. 4). 

For the season, she leads the team in kills (235) and kills/set (3.85). This is Tippmann's first Athlete of the Week title and second title for the IU Indy volleyball team. Tippmann and the rest of the Jaguars will travel to Moon Township, Pennsylvania, to face Robert Morris on (Oct. 10/11). Friday's match begins at 6:00 PM, and Saturday's match will start at 5:00 PM, and the matches will be live-streamed on ESPN+.
