INDIANAPOLIS - The IU Indy volleyball team will host the Oakland Golden Grizzlies for back-to-back matches on Friday, October 24 at 6:00 PM and Saturday, October 25 at 2:00 PM inside the Jungle. Heading into the match, the Jaguars are 11-10 overall with a 5-4 Horizon League mark.
 
Senior Morgan Ostrowski leads the Horizon League in hitting percentage with a mark of .370. Ostrowski also sits at eighth in blocks with 73 and an average of .90 per set. Freshman Jillian Tippmann sits at ninth with a hitting percentage of .269 as well as fourth in kills with 272 and a 3.68 average per set. Junior Grace Purichia leads the Horizon League in assists with 884 and an average of 10.91 per set. 
 
The Grizzlies are coming into the Jungle with a 5-16 overall record with a 5-4 Horizon League mark. This past weekend they fell against Horizon League opponent Green Bay. As a team the Grizzlies are ranked sixth with an average of .183. Freshman Ellen Zapp sits at sixth in service aces with an average of .31 per set. Senior Lyse Bates sits at seventh in digs with 299 and an average of 3.83 per set.
 
The Jaguars and Golden Grizzlies are set for a 6:00 PM first serve on Friday, October 24 followed by a 2:00 PM start on Saturday, October 25. Both matches will be broadcast on ESPN+ and tickets are available for purchase online.
