NEW ORLEANS - The IU Indianapolis men's and women's cross country teams were named All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Thursday (Jan. 30) for their collective work in the classroom.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
Men's head coach
Justin Roeder's team had a 3.48 mark and the women's program had a 3.62 GPA under the direction of head coach
Antonio McDaniel.
